Thomas Party at RLC

The best part of my day is hiding out to see the boy's reaction when I arrive at school.

How cute are they!!! : ) Look at the excitement in their eyes and smiles!

Happy birthday party at Roper Learning! (This was before they cried through the singing of their song, despite all week practices.)

Turner liked the plates and napkins more than the snacks.

Snacktime!!! Jack with his backwards cape and sweet ole Mary Wells to the right.

How cute are these kids!! : )

Sylvie (another twin) and Turner at the other end of the table.

Andrew and his big brother, Jared. Thanks Michael for letting Andrew stay for the party!!!

Andrew and Ethan (other twin to Sylvie)

Taylor and Gan after the party!
Two peas in a pod.

Boo and Turner playing on the swings.

Taylor loved swinging with his blanket.

Daddy and Turner playing...Daddy pretended that Turner hit him on the nose. You should have heard the laughter coming from all!

Happy early 2nd birthday, boys!

It was the day of the boy's school birthday party. Meltdown occured over them not wanting to take off their Thomas pj's. Mommy was too tired to argue, so I let them wear them to school. Yes, ladies and gentleman, I allowed the boys to wear pj's to school!!!

Day of their school party---Happy early birthday, boys!!!

Turner showing off his new pj's.

T and T posing outside of the car. Poor Taylor is dazing off, as tired as his mommy.

Taylor carrying his party supplies into school.

Turner pitching a fit because he wanted to eat the cheese doodles for breakfast.
PS- Mommy won that battle.

Happy birthday, dear friend Andrew!

The boy's school friend, Andrew, turned two! We were honored to be invited to the family party! Turner reading a book on trucks.

Airport fun while Andrew looks on.

Lunchtime!!! : )

Dessert time. Thankfully no frosting got on their white carpet!!

Needless to say, Taylor loved the frosting. Whose kid is he???

Turner enjoyed the trucks more than the cupcake. Whose kid is this?

Dinner with the Kruses

Dinner out with the Kruse family was so fun!!! Biking and playing ball in the yard, good ole dinner and yummy dessert! : ) Thanks Kelly, Tom and Davis for a wonderful night!
Davis and Turner enjoying some reading!

Dinner after a fun play date in the rain!!

Thomas the Choo Choo

Charleston Trains has arrived to SC! In celebration of the train's new arrival, Chick Filia sponsored a kids night with free rides! Since we live, breathe and only know every train involved with Thomas, we had to attend!!! Here are the boys and some of their friends.....

Walker Wall, Taylor, Turner and Madison Shamis about to leave the station. Ben and I tried to talk Turner into believing that we were on the Island of Sodor, but with Journey being played LOUDLY on the train's speakers, he was not believing it!!!! Taylor, of course, was enjoying the Kids Eat Free On Tuesday deal, and could have cared a less about the train ride. Poor Walker was scared to death of the cow that was lounging in the car in front of us. Sweet ole Madison was just glad to have another girl (me) along.
Nuggets, lemonade and fries--who could have asked for a better dinner!!!

Happy 92nd Birthday celebration, Nanny Dove!

Getting ready to go "out boat" with Boo and Gan.
Taylor helping Gan drive the Grady!!!

Boo reading to Turner...of course, it was Thomas the Train!!!

The boys are getting too comfortable on boats. They are not scared to lean way too far over and attempt to jump out. (Hope Nanny and Nanny aren't reading this!!)
Turner trying out his yoga on Gan and Boo's chairs, while Taylor looks up at Nanny and I.

PS- In case you were wondering: In celebration of Nanny Dove turning 92, we took a family outing to Sunset. What a great weekend we had! There is something fabulous about having many helpers for the boys, wine overlooking the ocean, a dock with a boat and great food cooked by your momma!!!

Turner showing off how he and brother moved Gan's porch furniture.

Taylor demonstrating his strength as he throws the porch furniture into the gravel backyard!!

Another one bites the dust! Look at that kid.

Whoever thought that throwing porch furniture and rocks would be so much fun??

Taylor hiding in the corner after he snatched a box of raisins from the counter!!

Nanny Dove, Gan and Taylor eating raisins and reading Thomas.

Lunchtime with a view!

Sweet Turner loves his fruit!!

Taylor getting ready to go "out boat" again. That is the best thing about having a dock right in your back yard. Many, many short boat trips!!!

Turner waiting for the crew with Thomas in hand.

Movie Date with Ashley

In celebration of the boy's ability to say "Ashley", we invited our favorite little neighbor over for a movie date. We popped popcorn and put in "Madeline", per Ashley's request. As you can see, we had a great night!!!

Here is Ashley helping pull the boys in the wagon to our neighborhood Labor Day party. If you look closely, you will see Turner fussing as he doesn't want anyone but mama pulling the wagon.
