Daniel Island Park Day

Last Saturday, we went to Daniel Island Park Day with the Kruse family. Davis posing on the fire truck while Taylor looks on.

Taylor jumping on the gigantic jump castle.

Pizza and beer mugs with Sprite. Life doesn't get better than this!!!

As you can see, playing in the fountain was the hit of the day!!!!

Water, water anywhere.....the boys love their water activities!!!

Bye Bye Benz....Hello Highlander!

It was that time! The Benz was fabulous in so many ways, but we needed more room. It was sad for all parties to see her go. Benz had been mommy's ole faithful for 10 years. Mommy tricked Gan into getting it for her. (Gan bet mommy that she could not get Cum Laude at MUSC. Mommy won that bet and Benz 10 years ago.)

Taylor posing with Benz on her last day of being the car pooler!

T and T looking alive before we dropped the boys off at school. Notice Taylor holding tightly to his backpack. He loves it!!!
Taylor reading his book in the new, white, fabulous with third seat highlander!!!

Notice the captain seatswith walk through to the spacious truck with foldable third seat. Mommy loves it almost as much as the sunroom, heated seats, back up mirror and automatic defroster on the side mirrors!!!

First Job: Feeding Ms Diane

Our dear friends and neighbors went out of town, leaving the Slades in charge of their cat, Ms. Diane and their dog, Caroline. Caroline stayed with us and we went daily to check on Ms. Diane. Funny, how serious the boys took the job! Turner scooping the water from the cooler into her cup.

Turner carrying the cup to her after Taylor grabbed Mrs. Robin's chair cushion.
Turner looking at the picnic dinner for Ms. Diane. They decided they wanted her food to be there and thought that grabbing handfuls of cat food was the best method of moving the bowlful.

T and T watching as Liza gives Ms. Diane a second helping of water (after Taylor gave Ms. Diane a near bath). Right after this, Turner was on the floor telling Ms. Diane "Eat" as he tapped her bowl. Funny boys!!!

Happy birthday, Nanny Y

Happy birthday to Nanny Yoshino!! She came to visit with us for the weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed it!!! WE started with a playdate at the Run for Rina , played at the park's playground, then had a magnificant lunch by Boo!! Nanny, Turner, Taylor and mommy posing for a photo at James Island Park at the Run for Rina.

Boy's Birthday Party-2nd

Better late than never on the blogging. Two weeks ago, we had the boy's second birthday party. We wanted to have a little celebration, nothing big, just our dearest friends who know the boys best. Well, that little party turned into 20+ kids and their parents. but a FABULOUS time was had by all. Thank you for everyone who celebrated with us , even in the smallest way!!!

We had a 'biking party". The sweet neighbors drew these parking spaces for everyone to park their "cars " in.

Even the dogs had fun. Poor Walt was trying to be patient as Caroline followed him around hoping for a bite.
Thanks to our fabulous friends and neighbors who blocked off the late afternoon to celebrate with us!
Taylor's shirt is getting smaller, thanks to the second or third cupcake.

Sweet ole Madison
Taylor checking out the scene.
Wham. That pinyata went down fast. Poor ole Thomas. Note to self: next time, let the little kids go first.

In case anyone was wondering why we have such pictures of Turner; he was here during the whole party!! The kid must have had at least a pound of boiled peanuts.
Dawn, Noele, Ellen, Baby Brown, Ashley and Savannah with mommy and Turner

Opening presents with Boo and Gan after the party. Yes, my friends, the boys know now how to open presents!!!
