Baby Noelle, who will be 5 weeks this week, made her first appearance at The Blessing of the Fleet with her mommy, Dawn, and daddy, Whit.
It was that time again. Time to bless those shrimp boats to bring in the good harvest so I can buy it!!! It was a fun afternoon, but way too hot. Thanks to our friend, Terri, we were protected by her big umbrella. As you can see, in this photo, Turner was into Taylor's pacifier and Taylor just wanted to take a nap on his mommy.
Terri and Walker Wall. This handsome pants just turned 1. Looks like his daddy!!!
Our friend Wendy, Taylor and I. Wendy and her 2 dogs walk on the beach with Ben and the hounds.
Sweet daddy was making bottles for the boys. Gotta get creative when you're out in public with the feeding situation!! Nothing is as good as the real thing though. : )
Taylor and Turner having a picnic. Yes, they are fascinated with real objects. Here, Taylor was trying to eat the sunscreen and Turner was playing the drum's on poor Sabrina's pretzels. What we would do without our Aunt Sabrina, we have no idea. She brought mommy Virgin Frozen Margarita's.

Supermarket Sweep
Turner is hinting around after looking over at his brother (see next photo). He loved the lights and noises...what an active cutie pie!
Taylor is laid out in the eat like he is sunbathing. By the checkout line, he was laid out eating his foot. That boy is a hoot!!!
" Oh, I found another toy!"

Our School Friends
Ok, this is not the best photo of me. It is 7 am and I was late getting up. Turner was enjoying playing the drum with the box of diapers and Taylor was "helping" push the stroller. What a pair!!
Thought all of our friends might enjoy a good laugh by watching how the boys and I arrive to school every day. Today, we needed diapers for the week--yep, the 208 count box should last for at least 3 weeks....pending no major reactions to mommy's latest purees (spinach, broccoli, banana and cauliflower).
Taylor enjoying a toy and Turner was in love with the wind chimes. Ahhh- staring at the windchimes! What a life!!
Our friend and classmate, James, and mommy's friend, Jody, visit us in the car on their way home.
Another friend, classmate and neighbor, Davis, and Turner enjoy playing with mommy's bottle bag. Watch out, boys...here comes Lilly!!!
And the big hit of the day is the arrival of the stroller at the end of the day. The school is great to let me keep the stroller there. When I pick the boys up in the afternoon, I grab the stroller from the front hall and make my way to the infant room. The minute the door opens and the stroller is forcefully pushed through the door, the busy bees come flying my way. I feel like the Pied Piper!! Here is Davis and Madison checking out the toys, seatbelts and handlebars. You can see our friend Gabby on her way to the stroller...whoops, she got distracted! Fast forward 30 seconds and you'd see she and Madison fighting over the faux keys. As you can see, Turner is enjoying the one on one time with a fellow teacher and Taylor is enjoying just being himself.
Sweet Andrew missed the stroller action, but smiles at the thought of seeing his friends, T and T.
"We're off!!" Here are T and T with Madison as we're about to leave for the day. This photo was taken on their school photo day. And of course, this was the second outfit of the day. Can anyone guess what happened to the first set of matching outfits? Boys will be boys, right?

Happy Monday!
Funny Story: What you can't see are the cute front on the black tee shirt on Taylor. It says "Small dark and Handsome". Naturally, Boo got us these cute shirts. And yes, mommy had the boys dressed alike for school today. On the way to school, "boom, boom" was heard as we crossed over the bridge. It was so loud and sounded like gun fire. Lucky for us, it had only come from Turner's toosh. We get to school and our "Small dark and handsome" had a major blow up back there, hence this blue outfit. As you can tell, "Blondie Taylor" had no blow outs, so he enjoyed wearing his "small dark and handsome" shirt all day. I got several comments about the wrong baby was in the wrong outfit as Blondie was wearing the shirt and Darkie wasn't. Good thing, Turner wasn't bothered by his brother wearing "his" shirt. ; )
And a fave picture from Sunday's visit with the boy's godparents , Ellen and Ray Brown. These are their girls: Emily, Julia and Ashlyn. Emily and Julia are fraternal twins. Like T and T, they are sweet as pie and look nothing alike. Emily is holding Taylor and Julia is trying to keep Turner in line, who is busy looking at his Uncle Ray. Funny boy!!! Actually, knowing Turner, he is checking out how pretty Ashlyn is!!! Our boys loved their visit with the Brown girls. Girl's, come back soon! We look forward to you girl's babysitting years!!!

Falling asleep on "the job"
Here is our great babysitter, Emily, feeding the boys their bottle. Note: It was early in their Sunday lunch and they had mommy's fresh pureed bananas and oatmeal waiting for them. Taylor is getting sleepy, with his eyes shut, but still drinking. Turner looks on, thinking " hope he falls asleep, so I can have his nanas".
Poor Taylor is getting sleepier and sleepier....Turner's grin is getting BIGGER and BIGGER. He is thinking, " Night-night, my bro. More nana's for me".
Sweet Taylor gave up the fight. "Mommy's milk and those yummy bananas aren't enough to keep me awake!" That is when the snoring began....

Sensational Saturday!
Wish i could get the video to work. Taylor has figured out that he can rock the pack n play like his horse. Funny boy rolls all around...no crawl, but he is fast as lightning with his rolls!
The boy cave has expanded and we are in heaven! As you can see, Taylor has discovered his feet and "busy man" Turner is into everything else! A special thanks to Boo's good friend Marilyn for their cute outfits!!!
Turner has become one happy baby. We used to joke about how serious he was, but not now! He is all smiles all of the time!!! He loves to crawl into my lap for hugs and kisses.
Turner's latest fixation is Taylor's pacifier. Actually, he loves anyone's pacifiers. I caught him grabbing a classmate's pacifier on Friday. BAD BOY! As you all remember, Turner never liked pacifiers. Now he wants them, but only for.....
TASTING!!!!
Today, daddy's school had their spring carnival. Here is one of the many booths where Mr. Sheridan (whose wife, Mrs. Lizzie, took care of the boys) got slammed by pies. There was also a cake walk (yep, Ralphie even won!!), dunk booth, raffles for baskets, games and yummy junk food!!!
Mommy and Taylor taking a break for lunchtime! No worries, daddy coated the boys will sunscreen! It was one hot day on that hill.
Daddy and Turner enjoying the view after lunch was over!!
Taylor ending the day by exercising his legs!
Mommy turned her back to get a toy for Taylor and found Turner pulling himself up to get a toy out of the basket. Folks, it is all over from here!!! Mr. Independent is now crawling and standing...and sweet Taylor is still the rolling king!! Don't worry, he is faster and more efficient at rolling than a rolling pin itself!! (Say a prayer that Turner will not seriously injure himself with the head bonging. Poor mommy hates to see her babies cry!!)

7 month photos: Action PACKED!
Turner Slade--"Baby BT" like his daddy...is always on the go!!!
Happy Easter! Too bad our Easter outfits were damaged before the photo could be taken. Here is T and T getting some sunshine while mommy sunbathed and daddy worked in the yard!
Ole faithful Guinness was protecting his baby brothers as they played in the grass!
Aunt Drea and her Aunt Rebby came to visit. Aunt Rebby also has twin boys!!!
" How's that taste, man?" Yes, we have started eating in our highchairs and love it!!! So far, they have enjoyed organic rice, oatmeal, green beans, peas, butternut squash, carrots, zucchini, mango, pears, avocado and peaches! Funny thing, they seem to like the veggies better than the sweet fruits!!!
Mommy and Taylor on their way to the neighborhood cookout.
Taylor, faithfully, waiting for more of his bottle!
Turner crawling at the park! Daddy took the dogs swimming, Taylor slept and mommy and Turner played on the ground. Thanks to BOB, we managed to go over the bumps with no problem! Everyone needs a BOB!!!
Turner--7 months!
" What's up, lady?" Turner is into his toys!!!
Taylor-7 months--what a sweet baby!!!

7 months!
This is the typical pose. Turner is into everything and Taylor is chill. These adorable overalls are one of my favorites on them! I had lost a box of 6 month clothing and just found it. How devastating to find a box of brand new stuff, let alone double new stuff. Guess I might have to figure out how to ebay it??
We had to say goodbye to our faithful "double snap n go". What a sad day. Ole faithful was my third son and best behaved! He fit nicely in the truck of the car and did not complain of the long hours!! With one snap, the boys could be moved from the car , in their car seats, to their stroller.
Here are the boys in the new stroller....the Double Combi. I am equally impressed except it's wide--should have thought of that! Bad thing--if the boys fall asleep in the car, you either have to wake them and carry them inside or sit in the car until they both wake up. I do love the Georgia and Falcon's colors!! It turns so nicely, has a great sun visor, and folds nicely in the back of the car with one push! A special thanks to our Uncle Jim for the stroller!
" Peek A Boo"....Turner has been grabbing onto the rail and shaking the crib sides, as if he was locked in a jail cell. Silly boy!!! If you look to his left, you can see a glimpse of Taylor's spiky hair. Taylor is still chilled....he knows we'll be back soon and is happy just waiting on our arrival.
Statistics:
Turner -weight: 17 lbs.; length: 26 1/2
He still has the look of his daddy, minus his mommy's dark hair and brown eyes. He loves to crawl and grab everything. He has 2 tooth and enjoys his mommy's homemade food. So far, green beans and avocado seem to be his favorite. He lives to play, not eat. Usually, we have to give him a play break between his food and bottle. He is wearing size 3 diapers and 3-6 month clothing. At school, he tends to hang with the bigger kids in the class, but always checks on his brother. He likes to grab his brother's pacifier, not for his mouth, but just because. He wants to be on his belly, so he can go! Today, we even found him "breaking out" of the boy's cave and crawling past Guinness. He loves to laugh at his daddy, listen to Jack Johnson and give his open mouth smiles!!! He loves to be outside and around other people!!
Taylor- weight 18 lbs. 12oz.; length: 26 1/4
Our chunk of love just loves life!! He lives for entertaining you with his big smile. When he thinks he has your attention, the action begins. He loves to ride his pony, pet his dogs, cuddle with his parents (and anyone else who will love him), and eat. He will scream hysterically like he is starving and see the bottle to give an " I'm fine" snort. He also has two downstairs teeth, which is uses to enjoy fresh pureed mango's, zucchini and butternut squash. He is wearing 6 month clothing, still in size 3 diapers and loves to play peek a boo. He is rolling wherever he wants to go and has started fighting back by grabbing objects back when Turner takes them. Just a week ago, he would let Turner take his pacifier and not put up a fight. Oh, no more!! His smiles melt your heart while the cries break it. He is on Zyrtec for his allergies...hope he's not allergic to the dogs! The great outdoors is his favorite place to be!!

Aaahhhh, weekends!
Taylor chilling at school on Friday, waiting for me to pack him in the stroller! Check out his tennis shoes--so cute, but so NOT practical. They fall off all the time!
Turner enjoying a sunglasses snack as he waits for Ben and I to open the door.
"Good morning!!!"
" I'll take that mister!"
" Who us?"
PS- Yes, we had another great weekend! Mommy was not great about taking photos, but here is a run down. Our cousins, Rush, Havens and Sunny came for the weekend. Havens was a great help with the boys--helping feed them, gather supplies for "pumping mommy" and entertain the boys! We enjoyed lunch at Folly Beach, birthday cake at Beth's house, listening to music and socializing at Ion's outdoor festival, 2 baby showers (yes, Taylor accompanied mommy to one!) and many fun catching up between mommy, daddy and Aunt Eliza. Needless to say, we felt the smallness of our home with 3 dogs, 3 adults and 5 kids, but LOVED every minute of it. Uncle John, we missed you!!! Night-night, all. Mommy is one tired cookie!!!
