Happy Halloween with the Browns!

Aunt Ellen and Uncle Ray invited us to their place for Halloween.
Turner sitting nicely eating his dinner. (While Taylor had to be chased and told 101 times to stop trying to feed 1 month old Olivia a chip!)

Sweet Noelle in her pumpkin attire.

Turner offering up a chip to the pumpkin. The Slade boys sure are good at sharing!

The Lion twins. Taylor loved his outfit, while Turner was not so impressed!

Another so-so impressed Turner posed. Turner loved riding on the back of the golfcart and looking at all of the great lights, costumes, the police cars and watching the stars shine bright. Taylor loved going trick -or-treating after he figured out that he could get candy for every growl he made.

Trick-or-treating!

Puzzled Turner studied everything!!! : ) He was so sweet. We would go to a door, the door would open and he would give a pice of his candy to whoever had opened their door.

Shellpoint Halloween Carnival

It was the day before Halloween and the neighborhood kids were stirring! Some friends (Robin and Lori) and I decided over wine one night that we would organize a Shellpoint Halloween Carnival. Thanks to all the great parents in the neighborhood, it was a huge success!!! Each family participated by donating a friendly snack, set of juice boxes, and an activity! The kids in the hood on the haunted hay ride by the Rickenbachs!!!

The toilet bowl toss by the Slades. I could not refuse and the game was a huge success!!!
Despite the 101 activities, Turn had to bring out his tricycle!
And enjoy some snowcones from Mr. Matt!
The big kids, both girls and boys loved the Monster Nail Salon!

Davis and Taylor enjoyed stealing the bowling pins to jam like a rock band!

Mr. Jim and Mrs. Pat's games were a huge success, but not as much as the cupcake prices!!!
Turner checking out the "which hand is the prize in" game.
And another cupcake for Taylor. Who can eat just one?

Bobbing for apples by Ms. Robin was a huge success until the unsupervised Slade boys decided to take a bite of not one, but two apples.
I am not sure who enjoyed the hay ride more...the adult beveraged parents or the super hyped up kids!!!!
The Gummy worm game was a huge success as well. Good job, Liza eating the worm off the string and with no hands!!!Who could argue with Turner and Davis when they were having so much fun!!
This was the sight of the day....Double fisting Taylor! Turner played every game and totally had a blast. Snack attack Taylor hit up every booth for a treat and if mommy refused to give him another snack, he would hit up some other adult or kid.

Happy birthday, Ben, at Legare Farms!

One of the boy's school friends invited him to his 3rd birthday party! Naturally, we went with the Kruse family!
Turner, Davis and Taylor holding hands in the parking lot.

Turner and Davis playing near this ole dog. Somehow, Taylor ended up bouncing on him, getting gently attacked by the dog, and saved by daddy. In the old dog's defense, Taylor went to hug him and must have scared him. Thankfully, daddy was right there and a few scratches on the face only, we all survived!!! It really just scared us all.

Turner getting ready to go down the slide!

Taylor pondering to go down the slide or go back down the stairs.
Turner riding the big boy's bikes.

Turner proudly holding the food to feed the animals at the petting zoo.

All of the boy's friends waiting by the gate to enter the petting zoo.

The sheep eating right from your hands.

Taylor cautiously feeding his new found friends.

Taylor feeding the donkey.

Turner feeding the sheep.

Bullwinkle! Mommy's favorite of all the animals. She was so gentle, soft and sweet!!!
Bullwinkle eating from daddy's hands. Look at that angelic face!

Turner feeding the goats, while Natalie looks on.

Taylor and his buddies feeding the baby pigs.

The sign said " Please do not feed the hogs. They bite." Naturally, Taylor had to test the limits. Good thing he is so darn cute!!!

Beep beep in the car.
Taylor holding something yummy in his mouth. This is his new look. If he is eating something that he wants to savor, he holds it in his mouth and runs from you. Snack attack boy! Wonder where he got his love for snacks. (hint, it starts with a "d" and ends with a "y")

Daddy and Mommy with their triplets (You know Davis is our third child.)
on the hay ride.

I had to show this picture. This is the cows tongue (which is like HUGE!) taking a piece of food from the edge of the trailor. Guess this was the only good cow picture I got. Somehow. The hey ride stopped in this cow field and the cows just grazed over. Actually, they were nasty. Sorry cows, but they smelled, had flies swarming all over them and had these long tongue that would reach back and swat themselves on the back. No lie! Even this cow lover was a bit freaked out!!!Turner and Davis posing on the tractor after we were forced off the hay ride because the driver got us stuck. Whoops!!!
Beep-beep goes Turner.
Taylor and Davis playing with the mini coupe!

Turner's new pet

Evidently, the boys and daddy thought we needed another pet. Mommy arrives home from the store and finds Turner proudly carrying around this bucket. Proudly, i mean, proudly.
Turn checking on his new pet. Taylor tried taking the bucket and Turn would yell "NO". Our neighbors, Owen and Lauren, tried looking in and he would push them away.

Turn was so happy with his new pet, "fog" as he called it. Sticky little tree frog must have felt the love equally because mommy tried letting him escape and he held onto the bucket for dear life!! We tried to let him swim off into the water table, but he kept coming back to the bucket, as if he didn't want to leave his new friend either.
Last picture disappeared from the blog: Whoops!
The frog escaped !!!
He must have hopped away in time for dinner with his mommy and daddy.
When i told Turner that he had gone home to his mommy, he looked inside the empty bucket and said "bye fog."

Favorite Fall Events: 25 months

Mommy can rarely get it together to post monthly posts on her boy's favorites. I had some great shots that show their fave's , so I thought I would post them!!!
Turner loves to ride the big boy scooter. Most days I show up and find "Turn" (as he calls himself) playing outside on the scooter. Zooming around so fast, this kid has got it!!!
Look at Turn go!!! (While Taylor is always just walking around like he owns the place. The teachers joke that he has mommy radar because he always seems to know when I am coming and is hanging out confidently by the door. He has the most confident walk in the world!!!)

Turn walking Guinnie.
Turn and Tay pushing their snack cups in thes troller. Like the red socks? Their choice. Some things are worth argueing about and others are not. Red socks were on the "not argue" list this day. Least they matched their shirts, right? PS- Taylor's favorite color is yellow. It is screamed "YYYYERROW!!!" all the time. Turner's is "BREW".

Turner has a love for monkeys. Small or big, they are all his friends.
