Playtime!!!

Not even the summer heat could prevent the Slade boys from enjoying the summertime!!! Taylor and "my boat": Taylor loves to pretend to be daddy. He "back up" his boat and stores his "nack" on it. Some days it is mile high and he requests tie downs to avoid tipping it!

Turner loves to ride his bike, only if we can head down the street to visit our triplet, Davis Kruse!

Ethan, Madison, Turner, Mary Wells and Lilly during snack time at school...

How precious are these two!! Turner and Madison love each other!!

Taylor and our good buddy, Easton, help me bake a cake!!!

Heading to Yogurt Mountain with Boo and Gan!!!

Turner loves to read!!!

AWESOME DAY OFF!!!

It seems that most of my days off are saved for long weekends away or "sick days". Double trouble means double viruses come our way!! I decided to take a summer fun day just for me!!Daddy took me fishing. Best day ever. Laying on the boat with only a cold beverage in my hand. Jack Johnson blaring through the stereo. No screams over the blue sippy cup. No poopy diapers. Just the smell of the salty ocean air...

Dinner out with the family had to include horses and guns!!

And of course, Taylor prefered eating his dinner on the way home. That kid loves a "nack!"

Crabbing with Daddy

Daddy was going fishing and needed crabs, so off to the old bridge we went!!!

T and T watching daddy put the stinky chicken into the crab pot.

Taylor, daddy and Turner look for crabs.....

Turner waits for the crabs by riding his bike. He was yelling " eat crabbies, eat!!!

Whoa! Go T and T !!

Red, white and fun!!!

Our great neighborhood decided to have an informal 4th of July gathering. Grilling, festive red drinks, a parade by the kids and fireworks!!!

Taylor getting up from his nap and ready for the night's festivities!!!

Turner showing off his newly decorated bike and gear for 4th of July parade.

Taylor enjoys a practice stroll in the wagon with his good buddy, Gunner.

Guinnie, in his attire, was happy to be included in the neighborhood fun!!!

Taylor resisting a hug from "ashee", whom he secretly adores.

Turner zooms down the road, including his second best friend, "monkey"!!!!

Strawberry virgin daiquiris really hit the spot making me look like the coolest mom ever!!!

Sterling helping me pour and pass out the drinks. You would have thought we were giving out candy!!!

Out Boat with Aunt Beth

We decided a boat ride with Aunt Beth, her new beay, Mark and his toddler, Claire, was a must!! Here are some funny shots as Beth and I worked our hinnys off to entertain three toddlers!
Beth and Claire...sweet little one. How calm girls are compared to boys!!!

Claire loved the watermelon!!!

And so did Turner....who would not get out of the water even for a big hunk of watermelon!!!

Daddy gets Taylor loving!!!

Seriously, we invited our friends but our water loving boys would not get out of the water and Claire would not get in the water!!!

Whatever the case, the long boat-beach day did the trick. We had three sleeping toddlers right as the boat left Morris Island!!!

Taylor was out cold. Head bobbing. Out cold.

Aunt Beth and Claire say their goodbyes!!!

Since they napped on the boat, I figured we might as well do some grocery shopping during "naptime". T and T love some grocery shopping!!!
