Luckily or unlucky for us all, Turner choked on a donut hole and threw up (at school), thus mommy was forced to start her Thanksgiving celebration early. Three hours later, the boys and I were heading over the St Simons causeway, humming and singing nursery rhymes. Daddy had left the day before to go fishing. The boys did fabulous on the ride down. We ate snacks, watched new movies, stopped multiple times for snack replacements, once for mommy to go potty in the woods. (Yep, my friends. I was not dragging both boys into a nasty public bathroom ALONE...thank goodness mommy now has an SUV.) Bonus: Mommy only had one snack cup thrown at her (ok, hint taken...more snacks needed!).
We are there!!! Poppy and his volunteerism with the Land Trust helped open this cool new park at the north end.
Little Turner under the big ole tree!!!
Snacktime!!!!
The boys playing by the little houses area. see who is there! Jackie! We snuck him down there because, well, he is not well. (enough said there so I don't start crying) He did great and enjoyed the extra attention. Guinness, home with our loving dog sitter, was beyond pissed as he took his free times to consume several key Thomas the tank engine train tracks. Bad, sweet ole dog.
The poor park was just finished and now almost destroyed by the Slades twins! Taylor and Turner loved sitting on the houses and enjoyed removing a ton of little greeen flags, which were probably marking something really important. Whoops!!!
Jackson making his own bed in the Slades front bushes. Sorry Poppy and Granny! Thank you for your patience Poppy, as we know you are not "dog people".
Thanks to this whole tricyle and our beloved rockets, fun outside was had by all. Yes, the weather was unexpectedly hot, thus the boys got to go pants-less!!
Taylor and his cousin, aka SSI babysitter, Elizabeth.
SSI Skate Park!
And yes, the boys are wearing their pajama tops because we had no more warm weather clothes!!
Snacktime with Elizabeth!!
The cousins found some old costumes and of course, they fit the boys perfectly!!!
The SSI pier always brings out interesting people and things. Here are the cousins with Taylor looking at some fish that were just caught. Turner was wanting to be held by his mommy so he could see the fish from high, high up!!
Parktime!!!
