Screams for ice cream.....

The craving had hit us, so off for a family night out at the newest Mt. Pleasant frozen yogurt place, Menches. Thank goodness we have no photos, although after you read this blurb, you will hope that the store cameras didn't catch this. We enter heaven...frozen yogurt self serve machines with toppings galore! You name it, they had it. Crushed candy bars, gummy worns, hot sauces, fruits, malt balls....I could go on forever!!! We decided to tag team getting our choice. Ben goes first as I chase Turner and Taylor stares in awe, patiently. I leave Ben at the counter with his heaping of goodness, wallet open and next in line. I guess the excitement made Turner wild. Before our eyes, he started circling the joint, screaming, laughing, acting crazy! Remember, this is the kid who hates sweets (and had to fuss the whole way there shouting " no ice cream. go home.") We calmly started our behavior plan... Mommy: "Turner, that is 1." Turner: laughter even louder, shoes being thrown off, running through couples, breaking in lines, as he runs from us.... Mommy: "Turner, that is 2." Turner: other shoe comes off and goes flying....right into the chocolate sprinkles! NO LIE! Daddy: " That is 3." Handing me his ice cream and running Turner to time out. Meanwhile, Taylor is still dreaming quietly and patiently by my side. Taylor and I head through the line, pay for our goods, retrieve Ben's yogurt from the counter and head to the car. On the way home, Taylor is in heaven with his mini scoop, as daddy and mommy were too. Turner, who was in time out, got none and of course, could have cared less!! We are discussing how great it is that you can pay by the ounce, so you can get your fix without killing your diet. I start bragging how mine was only $1.03 (My diet started 2 days ago in prepartion for bikini season.) Ben says " how much was mine?". We pull into the driveway as my mouth falls open.....I didn't pay for his because i thought he already had paid. Great, video cameras will probably have us arrested next time for the chocolate sprinkles that had been "croc'd on" and the mommy of twins who stole the three dollar yogurt serving!!!!
