Holiday Fun with Mommy's Girls

It is a bi-monthly tradition for mommy's friends to come over for dinner and a visit. We usually do either appetizers and wine/frozen virgin daiquiri's or dinner. This time we opted to do a potluck dinner. While the boys chowed down their milk, we had a feast on hummus and crackers, chicken, mac n cheese, spinach casserole, steamed broccoli and Dawn's homemade desserts. And girls, we only drank one bottle of wine among the 7 of us. Now, that is good self control we are showing to the boys! Mrs. Dawn and Turner getting in some snuggling time. As you can see, Turner has found his hands and is in love! Mrs. Dawn is expecting a little girl in March. Oh, we can hardly wait to have the new addition to our girl's night!
Miss Kim feeds Turner. Turner's latest attempt to help his mom is to feed himself. He has been known on occassion to even take the bottle out of his mouth when he is full and hold his pacifier in place.

Miss Nikki feeds Taylor. As you can see, he is very content with just relaxing while being fed. Look at those eyes, shouting out, " thank you, thank you!". Yes, we still have our Georgia pacifier near!

Aunt Sabrina (and Taylor's godmother) enjoy some much needed cuddling time!

Miss Kimmy poses with both boys--now that is talent!
* Now it must be mentioned that the BLOG only lets us post 5 photos. Missed in this BLOG are photos of Aunt Beth (Turner's godmother)...was she hiding? No, she was cooking, while this mommy pumped in the kitchen. Oh yes, girl's night is never complete without the good ole faithful pump! This time, she made two appearances!!!
** And a special thanks to our friend and photographer of the night, Steph!

For some reason a link to your blog came to my email from Google alerts. (I think because of your friend Nikki's name along with the Slade name... my name is Nikki Slade lol) But while I'm here I do have to comment that your blog and your family is very beautiful. Perhaps a "Slade" thing? ;)
