Special Time

The rottten thing about being a twin is that it is rare for you to get one on one time with your mommy and daddy!!! Mommy and Daddy have tried hard lately to switch off for some "special time".

Out Boat in Jan!

A pretty day in January...you know "out boat" we had to go!!! The boys wanted to bring a favorite on the trip.

Turner and his htB trailor...his new favorite!!! Anything "CARS" related...we can't wait til CARS 2 comes out this summer!!!

Nanny Dove visit

Nanny and Taylor share an ice cream sandwich? What I really meant was... we used the ice cream as bribery to get him to sit with nanny. He loves her, saying "bye nanny" when she left, but is too busy to pose with anyone.

First Pee-Pee and "poot"

Naturally the camera was upstairs, so the story will have to do.

Taylor came up to me and said "poop". I thought he had a poopy in his diaper.(He usually comes to me when he wants his diaper changed. Sometimes he will bring me a diaper, other times he will tell me. We have set up little boy toilets and on occasion, Taylor will want to sit on the toilet while daddy or I use the toilet. He practices sitting on it, shoving toilet paper in it, putting the seat down, flushing it, and then wants to wash his hands (aka: play in the sink)

Ben check his diaper. No poopy. He dragged daddy's hand and took him to the potty. Oddly, daddy actually took his diaper off and put him on the big potty per Taylor's request. Usually, we let him sit on the small toilet, clothes on, because there has never been any "action down there".

"Poot" (like passing gas) and some straining noise with a little pee-pee.....

Yeah, Taylor!! A little gas, pee-pee and a straining noise...we will take it!!! He smiled big, clapped his hands and proudly looked down there with a smile.

ps- We made a big deal of it, shouting and hugging him. Turner walks in to see the excitement. We ask him " do you want to go potty?" Straight faced and not amused, our little businness man, says "no, mommy-o" and walks off with his latest obsessions, Mater and Mc Queen cars.

The weather was cold so we decided we'd invite some girls over the play.

Turner's latest way to play with trucks, trains and cars! He loves to lay down, rest his head on the floor and play, yet denies he is tired. When asked " are you tired"..... "noooooooo tired mommy-o".

weekend highlights!!

The boy's favorite time of the month!! Our diapers.com shipment arrived. Sadly, we go through 312 diapers per month, give or take their food consumption!!! They like to pretend to be in boats...

When you can't have a trampoline indoors, we made the next best thing!!! Friends, this is the best idea that this mommy has come up with in months. They were entertained all weekend by this moutain of pillows, dog beds, and comforters!!!

And of course, all would not be grand without Taylor drawing on himself!!! And having lots of moons and stars on the box!
