Vacation to CO: Day 2

The best thing about Durango was the amazing weather. It was hot, but not humid so you do little sweating. You know the Slade boys LOVE to be outside, so that is what we did.

"Rock climbing" with Sunny

Sunny showing off her "palace".

The boys playing in the fountain. Whoops---were those rocks just thrown in by my boys? Oh yes, and there goes all of the sunscreens!!!

Havens helping Turner so he doesn't tumble down the mountain!

A goody pile that we found. A goody pile is a pile of stuff taken from people's houses by the bears. Yep, we found a plastic boat and car, someone's old cell phone and a shovel. Good stuff!!

Turner with his new found boat. Poor guy's skin was so dry when we were out there. Check out the rash he had on his face! The altitude certainly does weird stuff to your body!!!

Taylor chasing Scratchy Ding Dong, their cat. This was the highlight of their week. They loved to torture him and frankly, I think he liked it, as he kept coming back for more!!!

Havens, Poppy and Taylor walking downtown.

Mommy and Turner enjoying lunch at the Palce as Taylor took a nap in the BOB. Thank goodness for Aunt Eliza's friends who loaned us their jogging strollers!!!

Havens pushing "naked boy" because his milk spilt all over him!!! Sweet ole Sunny rode up just in time for the smiles.

Family Outing to the candy store! They give free balloons with lollipops to all, which the boys loved. But mommy really loved the ice cream!!!
Poppy and Taylor stop to pose for a photo at this riverside park.

Swinging at the park with the river's breeze...nothing could have been finer!!!
